Lack of Knowledge

Written by Kat

One of the many frequently quoted passages in the Bible is found in Hosea 4:6:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

God is lamenting that “My people” are “destroyed” because of the absence of something, the “lack of knowledge.”  Whenever the truth of Scriptures is missing in any given area, the results are always the same: Sin runs rampant.

“No man knows how bad he is until he has tried to be good.  There is a silly idea about, that good people don’t know what temptation means.”  C.S. Lewis

The statement ‘ignorance is bliss’, is irrelevant in any society or any situation. Knowledge is power and without such how can we then succeed.

Its definitely easier in the world we live in today, to just ignore what’s going on all around us. I know it can be overwhelming sometimes, but the only way to defeat the enemy, and the darkness is to be aware of all things good and bad. Study not only God’s word and His promises, but also any alternative news sources and free thinking reporters you can find. Educate yourself on what’s actually going on. Beware of the wolf in the sheeps’s clothing, the false prophets, and those that seduce you with their materialistic lifestyles.

John 8:32 (NKJV)
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

1 Corinthians 13:6 (NKJV)
“does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth..”

1 John 2:21 (NKJV)
“I have not written you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.”

It’s silly to assume vile things aren’t going on in the circle of worldwide elites, the Bible talks about over and over again (1,2 Kings, Judges, etc) how great men of God are corrupted by power, money, beautiful women, etc. How can we assume that those ‘leaders’ who aren’t followers of Christ are somehow avoiding perversion. Jeffery Epstein for example, he’d been a known front man for an international pedophile ring for years, but nothing had come of that knowledge for over a decade. In part because people didn’t want to believe it was true. We didn’t want to believe we live in a bad world, that’s only getting worse.

Romans 3:23-24 (NKJV)
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in christ Jesus.”

Romans 5:12(NKJV)
“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—.”

I’ve always been one who preferred not letting my mind dwell on negative things, or letting myself get overly bogged down with what most would classify as ‘politics’. But, I’ve realized our minds and our ability to research/study are sometimes our greatest weapons. We can’t win a battle that we don’t even know is going on. The battle for our unborn babies, our children, our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, our right to bear arms, and the list goes on. Darkness will not prevail where there is light. Truth is light, knowledge is light, understanding is light, keep the light lit in your hearts and minds.

John 12:46 (NKJV)
“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”

As christians we know how the story will end. Our Prince of Peace will coming riding in on a white horse and vanquish our foe. We have hope for a tomorrow without pain or suffering. That hope for tomorrow give us hope for today.

Revelation 19:11 (NKJV)
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”

Christian life

It is hard to live a Christian life, but in the end it all worth it. As I am writing right now this post we are still living with my parents-in-law, which for some people it seems nice, but for us it is difficult. I love them very much but to live with just my family is the best way. A few months ago we did apply for Habitat home which we got a denied just because we do not make enough, basically, we are too poor to have a home on our own, might that that Rob is working so hard on two jobs.

I have not been writing here for a while because I have been busy with school and being pregnantwith our tenth child in October 20th.

I am still thankful for everything that God does for us, even for this season of life that I am going through. God is there with me all the way through, sometimes I am realy ready to give up and just be done. I know it is wrong and praying for His holy strength that only comes from Him.

In the past I did not understand this saying: "You either in the fire before it or just pass it through and ready to go to another one". To me it simse like a long road of fire that I cannot see a light throught. I need even more God's help, that is why I am going throught it.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 helps me keep going further in the hard life. I need to focus more on the little blessings that God already gave me and is still giving to me and not waitng for a huge one.

Thank you Lord for being there through difficult times of my life, I am tired but you are strong to keep to cary me on.

~leza Edit note: we are here at our own home that we are remodeling!! sooo thankful to our God for provision.
