home made shampoo

Here is new recipe for homemade shampoo. I did not try it yet, but my friend did and she really like it.

1 bar of soap
4 qt. of water
2 eggs beaten ( you can do it without it)
1 ts. borax ( it is same ingredient as for laundry detergent)

Dissolve soaps in 1 qt of hot water. Let cool. Mix soap mixtur and 3qt. of water, eggs and borax. Stir thoroughly. Let rest for over night. And that is it. You will have fine hair. This recipe is good for any types of hair.
My little suggestion is also delude vinegar in water, like have cup of vinegar and cup of water and rinse your hair with it and you will have shiny smooth hair. I have done this back in Ukraine. It is common to do it this way back there.

day one

Like I said earlier in my blog, I have started a new workout routing it is called Slim in 6. I love workouts and feel great after I have done it. This is my workout section 2 of first week. It is actually is hard and tiring. 47 minuets long of sweat and lots of water bottles. I am trying to get healthy, but without right diet it is much harder.

In our little home I am using our girls room to do my workouts and it works if their room is clean.

Being mother to a 9 children is hard, let no one tells you that is easy because it is not. Especially to keep home clean, it is like no one lives here. Every time I say to pick their stuff everyone tells me it is not ours. It is like aliens brought and just drop everything in our home or made a mess. I remember myself being their age and did have same answers as they do, when being ask to pick my room up. It is so ironically.

Oh, well till the next time. I am planing to add recipe for shampoo and some other things like how to make butter and buttermilk biscuits.

day one

Like I said earlier in my blog, I have started a new workout routing it is called Slim in 6. I love workouts and feel great after I have done it. but since I got pregnant I do not feel like to work out:(

it is hard

IT is hard sometimes to find time to write, as much as I like it. I do know I have a spelling and grammer problems in English, probably I already have same problems in my own Russian language. :)

I have been trying to add few recipes here on my blog, so far have some. Today it will be hard to add anyhting except this, because I am on my way to get an interview for a job at Chick-File. We need a little bit more income to pay off our student loans. Rob and I went to school and gor our degree, at least he did, but now he can not find job tha twould pay something. Well, God is in control and HE knows what we are going through.

more recipes

As I mention earlier in my blog, I will try to add more "do-it yourself recipes in here. I find out that clothes dryer liners are not healthy with all the chemicals that they put in to it. So here is a simple solution to it. all what you need to so to make your clothes smell and feel softer is this

You need:

1 washcloth
1cup of any laundry softener

Soak washcloth in laundry softner and let it dry. Do not rinse only squeeze liquid out and lay flat to dry. Put wet clean laundry in the dryer and your washcloth in together. Pull every thing out after clothes got dry. You will have fresh dry cloths without any static or any chemicals and smell good also. You may reuse your washcloth as many time as you feel like it or when smell wears out and repeat again.
enjoy:)

Home-made laundry detergens

Here it is, as some of you know I am using home-made laundry detergent to wash clothes of 11 people in our family. It simce working out great. My husband is taking a nap on our washed in homemade laundry detergent sheets and he loves it. That is plus for me:)
I will post two different recipes and you can choose what is good for you. I got them from my friend who is making everything from scratch even shampoos:)
Here is a recipe #1

1 cup of washing soda(I use arm and hammer regular soda, but you can find washing)
half a cup BORAX (Wall-mart and meijer have it, Menard's -do not know what you talking about:)
1 bar of soap FELS-NAPTHA is great, but you can use any other soap.
3 gallons of water

Great soap that it can melt easier( I use shredder). Boil 4 cups of water and add slowly soap and stir until completely melts. (I mad a mistake and my soap did not melt completely:)). Meanwhile, place 3Gal. of warm water in 5gal. bucket ( use warm tap water) Pour Borax and Soda in bucket and mix until dissolved. Add melted soap to the bucket. Place a lid on the bucket and allow to sit for overnight. When you are ready to wash your clothes just put 1cup of your home-made laundry detergent in.

My detergent gets a little leaky, oh well hey, clothes are clean is that what is important:)

Home-made laundry detergent #2 (I have not done this way yet)

1 bar Fels-Naptha
41/2 gl hot water in 5 gl bucket
1 cup of whashing soda

Place soap in a sauce pan and cover with water. Heat over low heat until soap is dissolved, stirring constantly. Add melted soap and washing soda to the hot water in bucket. Stir. Allow to cool overnight. When you are ready to launder, add 1 cup home-made laundry detergent to your wash.

I hope you will enjoy this not only by clean clothes, but by it is easy, fun to make with kids and it saves money. We love it!

I will try to post more home-made things. Just keep checking in.
God bless!

I am yours Lord!!!

I have not been writing lately because we do not have an Internet at home, so in the order for me add something in here I must go to the library. I am thankful that sometimes I can get Internet from my bedroom upstairs and can write a little bit for those who are following Beecher's. As I am writing little boys are having a Bible time with Robby, girls are in bed having their girl talk and Rob is working on papers that he brought home. Rob is working Praise the Lord on 2 jobs. On at the Bauer community center and another on is driving Tippecanoe county school bus. A lot of things has been happening since I have written last time. A lot of catching up I have to do. I learned a lot in past months about God. By trusting Him more and giving Him everything that I have and not to think for Him because HE already knows what is good for me and my family.
I learned that I can somehow help our family financially if I save money by making my own laundry detergent and make homemade gifts for Christmas. Our girls had a blast making them.
We made cookies for Christmas to pass out around our neighbourhood, it was so cool to see our children getting so excited about it, the only sad part was to see on their face disappointment when some people said "no thank you". One family was so nice that right before New Years eve husband came and gave us movie passes 9 of them. We were like WOW, thank you Jesus. Little things like this is nice to see. Rob has been busy working on two jobs and we had not family time together so this was a little excitement for all of us. So we went to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader and it was very neat, except scary part for little Mitchell and 2 boys:)
I will try to write more when I can. I love to do it. Please pray as we seek God's will for our family. Rob and I have not giving up to wait for ministry opportunity at the camp on full time basis. In meanwhile we not need to put our nets down and still need to do what we were doing for His glory alone.
Soli Deo Gloria!!!!!
